Hi @MGL_Data2
Thank you for taking the time to document your observations and share such detailed feedback. We genuinely appreciate users who help us identify areas where the overall Algo trading experience can be further improved.
Regarding your points:
1. I request you to kindly highlight the exact instances where you observed the execution difference. Please share the relevant trade details with the support team of the platform where you have deployed your Algos.
-
If you have deployed Algos on Stratzy, please write to support@stratzy.in.
-
If you have deployed Algos on algos.dhan.co, please write to apihelp@dhan.co.
Our team will be happy to investigate the specific trades and clarify the observed behaviour.
2. As per the latest exchange regulations, API-based orders can only be placed as LIMIT orders. Since LIMIT orders are dependent on market liquidity and price availability, their execution cannot be guaranteed during fast-moving market conditions. This is also highlighted under the Important Disclosures available on every Algo page.
That said, we completely understand the expectation that user intervention should be minimal. At Stratzy, delivering a reliable execution experience remains one of our highest priorities, and we are continuously working on improving our order management system while remaining compliant with the regulatory framework.
As part of these improvements, we have already introduced the first version of our Retry Mechanism for exit orders. You can learn more about it here: Retry Mechanism: Stratzy’s Most Requested Feature Update
3. If the order failures you observed were related to hedge execution, the behaviour is generally explained by the broker RMS flow when hedge benefits are not unlocked due to pending LIMIT orders.
If you have experienced synchronization behaviour outside of these scenarios, we request you to share the specific trade details with the relevant support team so that the execution flow can be investigated thoroughly.
4. Since this relates to the Dhan platform, I request you to follow up with the Dhan support team at apihelp@dhan.co for updates regarding their front-end optimizations.
I completely understand where you’re coming from. Reliable execution and minimal user intervention are fundamental expectations from an Algo trading platform, and they are equally important to us. The changes introduced by the latest exchange regulations have presented new execution challenges across the industry, and our engineering team has been continuously working to optimise execution within these regulatory constraints.
Many of the enhancements we’ve introduced over the past few months, including the Retry Mechanism, have been a direct result of user feedback. We continue to monitor execution behaviour closely, prioritise improvements that provide the greatest value to users, and invest in making the platform more robust with every release.
We sincerely appreciate you sharing your experience and helping us improve the platform further.
