Nifty 50:
Nifty opened higher at 23,997.95, in line with the positive start indicated by GIFT Nifty, and briefly crossed the 24,000 mark.
However, the index struggled to sustain gains and slipped towards the 23,900 zone during the session, with a low of around 23,893.
Our pre-market view played out to a considerable extent: We had identified 23,900–24,000 as the key zone and highlighted that holding this area could lead to a short-term recovery
The index remained largely range-bound thereafter, reflecting continued caution amid elevated crude prices and geopolitical uncertainty.
