If you’re asking about a Stratzy algo, it helps if you mention:
• Algo name : Zen, Damper,Curvature ….
• Time period Overnight/intraday
• What you’re observing or confused about - Can the algos book 50% when hit the first set of target and carry the ride rather than moves come but it fails in between as range bound which can go in other side and turn back but algo will be exiting because al will hit , with that said can the algos book 50% in either way and carry rest to hit ?

I understand your perspective. At the same time, each Algo we make LIVE is the outcome of extensive research and testing, with lakhs of simulations run across different market conditions. The version available to users is taken LIVE only after thorough strategy validation and the required quality checks.
While partial profit booking may be suitable for certain strategy designs, its impact needs to be evaluated across the overall strategy and different market conditions before incorporating it.
