Custom Weightage for Combined ALGO Portfolio Analytics

Dear Team,

It would be highly beneficial to add an option in the Dhan HQ portfolio combination tool that allows users to assign custom weightages to individual algos while calculating portfolio-level performance metrics.

For example:

  • Curvature: 2x Allocation

  • Damper: 3x Allocation

  • Zen: 1x Allocation

Based on these customized allocations, the platform could calculate consolidated portfolio metrics such as:

  • Maximum Drawdown

  • CAGR

  • Sharpe Ratio

  • Net Returns

Additionally, it would be extremely valuable to include Maximum Time to Recovery (MTR) alongside Maximum Drawdown, as this is a critical risk metric for evaluating combined portfolios.

This enhancement would help users simulate real-world capital allocation scenarios and make more informed portfolio construction decisions.

Thank you for your consideration.

This requirement is a must for managing the portfolios of a given size using the multiplication factor. I have also discussed this requirement directly with DhanHQ team. Eagerly waiting for this feature to be available.

Thanks for the suggestion @vishal_arora. I am happy to tell you that we’re already working on bringing algo baskets to Stratzy, with combined performance metrics and analytics presented in a single, easy-to-understand view. Stay tuned!

great, do bring algo baskets to DhanHQ also

Yes, giving MTR along with Max. DD is very important when checking stats for combined algos.

@Sahil.G @Nisshant_Vernekar is the custom weightage for combined algo coming to DhanHQ or startzy? if yes approx timeline pls

Hey! @vishal_arora. We’re working on deploying this as soon as possible

This will be game changer to build protfolio, as not everyone uses max capital or equal capital , eagerly waiting for this

Hi,@Nisshant_Vernekar My question my when we check combined algo performance it shows max DD, Return etc combined . Are those combined performance considering max allocation ? If my allocations are different in each algo how to get that performance matrix?
