• Algo name : IV-Imbalance Credit Spread Overnight
• Time period : June
• Confused about: at both places this strategy is taking different trades, is it normal?
I am not talking about slippages, but complete different trade.
On some days on Dhan HQ it has shorted CE and on the same day it has shorted PE on stratzy app.
And returns are far apart in both the places.
So please help me in understanding this behaviour.

Hi folks @ssnitish @Alphaedge @Bhushan, this is a super common question and we’ve answered it here: I would like to know about the algos deployed in DhanHQ and Stratzy are same
Please give this a read and let me know if you need to know anything more!
Hi @Nisshant_Vernekar, thanks for your reply.
However, I don’t think it fully answers my question. I understand that the data flows from different sources, and because of that, there can be some slippage or delays in execution. That part makes sense.
What I’m referring to is something different. On the same day, at around the same time, the Stratzy app is generating a signal to sell CE (indicating a bearish view), while DHAN HQ is generating a signal to sell PE (indicating a bullish view).
These two signals are fundamentally contradictory. Could you please explain how this happens? If possible, I’d appreciate some clarity on why both platforms can arrive at opposite views at nearly the same time.

Hi @ssnitish , could you help me determine which model is more reliable? They are taking divergent positions despite the data, leading me to suspect they might be running on different algorithm versions. Do you have any insight on which is performing better?
Correct . Example Skewhunter 23rd June 2026 trade. In stratzy app it was PE in Dhan HQ it was CE. Please clarify.@Nisshant_Vernekar.

Hello @ssnitish @Alphaedge Your question is absolutely valid but the thing is, our data source is different than that of dhanHQ, we get it via a third-party and dhan gets it directly by exchange.
This query has been raised by many users. Hence, we’re in the process of getting the data source same for both the platforms so there isn’t any misunderstanding anymore

So you will get data from dhan ??
We will get data from the same data source as dhan
@Nisshant_Vernekar Is this issue sorted out? Is there a timeline for fixing this? I think this is a major concern and dhan’s data is much more reliable than stratzy
Hey @Kalyan. So it’s not an issue per se and this has also been highlighted in the Important disclosure. Like I said, we’re trying to get it done asap so that there’s no more misunderstanding amongst stratzy/dhan algo users
