What Is the Most Difficult Part of Trading for You?

As you all know already, trading is more than just buying and selling - it requires making decisions under uncertainty, managing risk, and staying disciplined. Even experienced traders face challenges, and those challenges often change over time.

We’re just curious, what’s the biggest challenge you’re facing right now?

• Finding good entries or exits
• Managing risk
• Controlling emotions
• Staying consistent
• Being patient and waiting for setups
• Something else?

If your challenge is related to the platform or trading tools, let us know that too. Your experience could help others facing the same struggle.

I left everything related to Trade to Stratzy. My simple question is why stratzy making so much of algoes..??? Just concentrate in minimum algoes and make it best. Also make algoes in Commodity also…

Hi Team Stratezy,

We would like to request a webinar for this coming Saturday. We are looking at a start time of either 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM.

Please let us know if you are available at either of these times and confirm which works best for you.

Hello,

That’s a great question, and we completely understand your perspective.

The reason Stratzy offers 100+ algos is not because we want users to trade every algo. Our philosophy is to provide a wide range of uncorrelated strategies so investors can build a diversified portfolio instead of depending on a single strategy.

No single algo performs best in every market condition. Some algos are designed for trending markets, some for sideways markets, some for high volatility, while others perform better in low-volatility environments. By combining different strategies, investors can reduce concentration risk and build a more stable portfolio over the long term.

To make this easier, we’ve introduced the “Combine Algo” feature in the Stratzy app. It allows you to:

  • Combine multiple algos into a single portfolio.

  • Check whether the selected algos are correlated or uncorrelated.

  • Analyze the combined portfolio’s historical returns, drawdowns, and other performance metrics.

  • Build an optimized portfolio based on data rather than relying on a single strategy.

Regarding your suggestion on Commodity algos, we completely agree. We are currently in the compliance and approval process for both BSE and MCX algos as the exchange ecosystem and regulatory framework continue to evolve. Once the approval process is completed, we plan to launch our BSE and MCX algo strategies in the near future.

Suppose I have a specific trading style wherein I track some indicators and place/exit trade accordingly. That visibility is not there in the algos, or I haven’t figured it out yet (I only see the page on past performance and ratios and the “About algo” section which has some stories). This leads to unplanned loss wherein I would have exited manually but algo is waiting for signal. Additionally, in algos where the profit is from selling options (like credit spread), rather than depending on signals, you can provide underlying RR, as the reward is always fixed (net balance of premium). Case in point, the loss of this week in Zen Credit oor IV Imbalance could have been avoided if this RR logic was implemented.
