Hi, I’ve discovered some Algos with Good Past Performance for which I feel I would like to invest more than its Max. Capital Allocation amount. While there are other Platforms which have Min. Capital Requirement but No Max. Limit, however, this is currently not the case with Stratzy.
Is it really necessary to put a cap on the upper limit? Wouldn’t it be nice if it is left up to the user how much capital he wants to invest in an algo?
Instead of allocating more capital to a single algo, we recommend diversifying across multiple algos. Stratzy currently offers 100+ algos across a wide range of strategies, including Straddles, Strangles, Option Buying, and Credit Spreads. We also provide different execution styles such as Intraday, Overnight, Weekly Expiry, Partial Exit, and Exit Early algos.
By diversifying your capital across different strategies and execution styles, you can build a more balanced portfolio and potentially reduce concentration risk.
Additionally, we recommend trying the “Combine Algo” feature available on the Stratzy app. This allows you to:
Combine multiple algos into a single portfolio.
Analyze the correlation between the selected algos.
View the combined portfolio’s historical returns, drawdowns, and other performance metrics.
Optimize your allocation to build a well-diversified portfolio based on data.
Thanks @Purvang for your reply. However, based on my experience I’ve discovered majority of Stratzy’s algos are loss making whereas there’re just a handful of them which I found worth further investing. Initially, I too diversified my and my clients’ Algo Portfolio to go safe considering all the parameters like Correlation, etc., but this caused me Losses way more than had I chosen to invest the same amount of capital in just a couple of good algos.
I wish Stratzy removes or at least raises the Max. Capital Allocation to a good level ‘coz 3.20L for a Good Algo that’s actually making money is way too less. Diversification should be a ‘Recommendation’ but Such Low Allocation Limits are ‘Forcing’ me to Diversify and put money in Bad-performing Algos and eventually making losses.
Honestly, Mujhe sirf 3-4 Algos hi worth investing lage. But Capital zyada and Allocation Limit kam hone ki vajah se mujhe forcefully Low Performing Algos me invest karne pade or loss bear karna pada. Now, I want ke unhi 3-4 algos me hi zyada amount invest kar sakun. Or agar yeh nahi ho saka to I’m afraid I’ll eventually have to Divert My & My Clients’ Money to some other Algo Trading Platforms where Limit is much more.
