Today skewhunter was running at 100%+ gains and again a spike and the total profit almost wiped. Totally a loser algo. What is the point of holding till 2:50 pm when almost you have achieved 100% gains?
I understand your observation regarding SkewHunter Algo and the profit fluctuations you experienced during today’s session. I would like to clarify that the Algo operates according to its predefined strategy logic and exit conditions, which determine when a position should be closed. It does not automatically book profits solely because a trade has reached a particular profit percentage during the session. As a result, profits may fluctuate with market movements until the Algo’s predefined exit conditions are met.
I would also like to clarify that the Algo does not necessarily hold a position until 2:50 PM or exit at any other fixed time. If the predefined exit conditions are met earlier, the Algo may close the position before that time. The actual exit depends on the strategy’s logic and prevailing market conditions.
Additionally, I would also like to assure you that we continuously monitor the live performance of all our Algos. Every algo is tracked on an ongoing basis by our quantitative research and engineering teams, who regularly review execution behaviour, capacity, risk characteristics, and overall performance consistency. Any observation that requires attention is thoroughly evaluated before appropriate action is taken. This monitoring is a continuous process and forms an integral part of how we manage and maintain our Algo offerings at Stratzy.
That said, if you prefer to book profits at a specific amount rather than continue holding the position as per the Algo’s logic, you can use our Algo Exit Triggers feature to define your preferred profit-booking levels, stop-loss limits, or exit time. This gives you greater flexibility in managing your trades based on your preferences.

I hope this provides some clarity.
